On May 1, 1969, Allison Jablonko completed the descriptions of all the events that had been filmed with Godelier among the Baruya in March and April, 1969. Ten years later, the 46-page document provided crucial contextualization when viewing with Godelier and his students. In 1980, it became a central resource in deciding how to edit films. It remains central as a record of an ethnographic research film project.
